At the forefront here in New Zealand is Rik – our local lead and your go-to contact on the ground. With hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the day-to-day realities of farming in New Zealand, Rik is genuinely invested in the success of the local industry. He’s passionate about helping farmers thrive through practical, innovative hygiene solutions that are effective and easy to implement.
Who we are
The Schippers Group is a family-owned company founded by Martien Schippers in 1966. Today, it stands as one of the world’s largest providers of livestock farming solutions, with more than 500 employees, 14 offices, and operations spanning over 40 countries.
Driven by the belief that healthy animals lead to better farming, The Schippers Group is committed to advancing hygiene and biosecurity across the agriculture industry. With over 55 years of experience, we work alongside farmers to shift the focus from treating diseases to preventing them — creating cleaner, more productive farming environments.

How long does shipping take?
We use recognised freight partners to deliver your order. Delivery typically takes 5–10 working days, depending on your location and the products ordered.
Can the HyBag Foamgun connect to any water blaster?
The Foamgun is compatible with most professional water blasters. It comes with a standard 1/4 inch female thread. This is a common size for water blaster couplings. You’ll need the right coupling to connect the Foamgun to your blaster’s lance or pistol.
If you’re unsure, check your blaster’s specs or speak and contact us or your local water blaster parts supplier.
Do I need hot water or a steam cleaner?
No. The detergents in the HyBag are designed for use with cold water. In fact, cold water helps maintain the foam’s structure and gives better coverage and contact time.
Can I use MS TopFoam or MS T&T Cleaner to wash buildings like a house?
These are alkali-based cleaners designed to break down organic soiling. However, they’ve been specifically formulated for their intended applications. MS T&T Cleaner is designed for agricultural equipment like trucks and tractors, and MS TopFoam for use in livestock environments. They’re not recommended for household use.
How much DryCare should I use to keep pens dry?
Start by applying around 100–200 grams per square metre. After that, keep an eye on moisture levels and adjust as needed. The goal is to keep the pens dry to limit germ growth. Use visual checks and common sense. If it's getting wet, more DryCare should have been applied.
